Q. How can I buy your product if
I don't have a PayPal account?
A. There are two ways to place an order without PayPal.
- You can call me at 877-298-1452 and leave
your phone number and order information on my message machine.
I will return your call to confirm the order.
- Or you can print the ORDER
FORM and enclose a check or money order (MADE OUT TO SUSAN
SIEMERS) with your order, mailing it to Ceres & Co. at 2814
Plymouth-Laporte Trail, Walkerton, IN 46574.
Q. Why are the shipping prices different
online than through the ORDER FORM?
A. Since using the online shopping
cart incurs extra charges for us, you can save money on shipping charges
by printing out the ORDER FORM
and mailing it in with your check or money order (MADE OUT TO SUSAN
SIEMERS). We pass our savings on to you!
Q. Can I use goat milk soap on my face?
A. Certainly. Goat milk is very close to our skin's pH. In
addition, the goat milk I use is very high in butterfat, so it has
great emolliency. Jasmine Baaaa-r has added lanolin, too. I use it
on my face all the time. It never leaves my skin feeling taut and
dry the way commercial soap would.
Q. Do I need different bars for my face and my bath?
A. One bar will work for both, but you may want to try Oatmeal
Cleansing Bar for your face if your skin is very oily. For dry skin,
try either Almond Delight (which has ground almonds for exfoliating)
or Jasmine Baaaa-r.
Q. What is milled soap?
A. Milled soap is soap that has been double-processed. I start
with Baby O Baby fragrance free soap, and when it is about half way
through the cure period, the soap is grated and combined with a liquid.
For instance, the Triple Sage bar uses sage tea for the liquid. Once
the soap is thoroughly melted, it is ready for any additives and is
then remolded. For Triple Sage bar, I use dried sage leaves and clary
sage essential oil as additives before the final mold.
Q. How long will the bars last?
A. Using goat milk in place of water creates a very dense bar
that will last longer than most bars. Just remember to put the bar
in a dry place after each use and you will use a bar for months!
Q. What is the difference between fragrance oil and essential oil?
A. Fragrance oils have artificial fragrances added to a scent-free
base oil such as coconut oil. Essential oils are the distilled oils
of the plant, with no added fragrances.
